Module 2:
*HIV AND AIDS TRANSMISSION *Explain the effect of body fluids on transmission of the HIV virus * Understand the different ways in which HIV and AIDS gets transmitted *Explain mother to child transmission of HIV and AIDS *Describe the implications of unprotected sex *Describe the actions a mother can take to lower the risk of infection to a child *Design a poster to promote wellness *Explain the dangers of drug abuse and behaviours that could result in HIV transmission *Understand the precautions taken in South Africa to ensure blood is HIV free.
