A Bill Of Material (BOM) is a convenient method of combining components that are
required to manufacture a product. These components are contained in the Inventory
/ Stock module of PFIM and therefore all the associated costs and details of the components are already stored and updated in the system – ready for easy and for the inclusion into
the Bill Of Material production process.
The Bill Of Materials module enables the user to add costs to Raw Material items as
a fixed amount per Raw Material item and as a percentage of Raw Material cost.
A Bill Of Material can be printed to keep a hard copy of a finished product
costing.
